At the Last Desk ´

Inspired by Slavic folklore and Soviet New Year kindergarten traditions, where children often dressed as rabbits, At the Last Desk shows two rabbits seated at a school desk atop a stairway, sending paper planes toward the ground below. Set between institutional order and childhood fantasy, the work explores playfulness as a quiet form of resistance. Elevated and isolated, the rabbit boys appear both celebrated and abandoned, transforming a space of discipline into one of critique, imagination and play.
